Job Description	Our client, an institution for environment education program is currently in need of Education Officer. Duties and responsibilities include the following: Assist in the development of environment education programs and awareness strategy designed to meet the needs of developing environmentally aware active students and other stakeholders; Participate in the execution of education programs and follow-on activities which include training teachers in the use of resources and in delivering educational environmental sessions in community schools; Assist in preparation for workshops including logistical arrangements; Assist in conducting contest campaigns with inputs from other members of education team; Engage in monitoring and follow-up education program activities with teachers, youth and teens from schools; Educate students in the community schools through awareness presentations and workshops; Contribute to the development of the online program resources (e.g. interactive activities) for teachers and student. An ideal candidate must have a degree in Environmental Science, minimum 3 years of experience at a similar position with an interest and ability to work both in the field and in the office, experience in devising and leading schools environmental awareness campaigns and ability to communicate fluently in English and Arabic.
